KLIA Regional Meteorological Office

KLIA Regional Meteorological Office is located in Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), Sepang and started its official operation on 1 July 1998. It provides a comprehensive range of aeronautical and other meteorological services in accordance with the provision of Annex 3 to the Convention of International Meteorological Practices - Regional Supplementary Procedures . It has a total number of 50 staff who work round the clock to provide meteorological services.

KLIA Meteorological Office is also responsible to provide aeronautical meteorological services to the Dependent Meteorological Offices in Penang, Butterworth and Kuantan whenever the need arises.
