As of December 2025, American Airlines’ aircraft and cabin configurations specifically for the Kuala Lumpur routes (KUL):

• Boeing 777-200
• Boeing 777-300ER
• Boeing 787-8 / 787-9

Cabin Configuration

Flagship/Business Class

• Lie-flat seats with direct aisle access on wide-body aircraft (777 & 787)
• Spacious personal space and premium amenities
• Priority check-in, boarding, and baggage handling
• Premium dining and service on long-haul flights

Premium Economy Class

• Wider seats with greater recline and enhanced legroom
• Dedicated cabin and enhanced service compared with main cabin
• Larger personal entertainment screens
• Priority boarding on selected flights

Main Cabin / Economy Class

• Standard seating with adjustable headrests
• On-demand personal entertainment screens on most wide bodies
• USB and/or power outlets in many aircraft
• Complimentary snacks and beverages on long-haul services

Seat Selection

• Complimentary or paid seat selection depending on fare and booking class
• Advance seat selection available via Manage Booking
• Preferred and extra-legroom seats may incur additional charges
• Seat configurations and space vary by aircraft type
