Passengers travelling with Bangkok Airways are permitted to carry the following:

Carry-on Baggage

Passengers are allowed to bring one piece of carry-on baggage into the cabin, subject to the following limits:

• Maximum weight: up to 7 kg

• Maximum dimensions: 115 cm total (length + width + height)

• Must fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front

In addition to the main cabin bag, passengers may carry one small personal item, such as a handbag, laptop bag, or camera, provided it fits safely under the seat.

Checked Baggage Allowance

Checked baggage allowance depends on the fare type and route:

Economy Class (Standard Fare)

• 20 kg or 25 kg depending on route

Premium / Business Class

• 30 kg per passenger

• Each checked bag must comply with the airline’s size limits (maximum linear dimension ~158 cm per bag).

Passengers are advised to check their ticket fare rules for the exact allowance applicable to their journey.

Extra Baggage

If your baggage exceeds the free allowance in weight, size, or number of pieces, excess baggage fees will apply:

• Charges depend on extra weight or additional pieces

• Fees vary by route and travel class

• Acceptance of excess baggage is subject to available space in the aircraft hold

To avoid extra charges, please make sure to fit your allowed weight into your allowed number of pieces. Any extra weight or number of pieces will be subject to additional fees, provided there is space in the hold for your excess baggage.

Passengers are encouraged to pre-purchase extra baggage through the airline website or local office for more convenient and often lower rate

For more details on the baggage policy, please contact the Bangkok Airways Kuala Lumpur GSA Office at Tel: +603 2148 8033 or get in touch with your nearest ticketing agent.
