Passengers travelling with Bhutan Airlines are permitted the following baggage allowances.

Carry-on Baggage

All passengers may bring:

• 1 cabin bag up to 7 kg

• Maximum dimensions: 55 × 40 × 20 cm

• 1 small personal item (handbag, laptop bag, or camera bag) that fits under the seat in front

Cabin baggage must fit in the overhead compartment or under the seat.

Checked Baggage Allowance

Economy Class: up to 30 kg per passenger
Business Class: up to 40 kg per passenger

Exceptions for Paro - Kathmandu route:

• Economy Class: 20 kg

• Business Class: 30 kg

Maximum size for each checked bag: 158 cm (length + width + height).

Baggage exceeding these limits will incur additional charges if space is available in the aircraft hold.

Extra Baggage

Additional baggage can be purchased in advance via:

• Online through Manage Booking

• Bhutan Airlines sales offices

• Airport check-in counters (higher charges apply)

Purchasing extra baggage in advance may result in lower fees compared with airport purchases.
