Cebu Pacific Air Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cebu Pacific Air provides flexible cancellation and refund options, ensuring convenience for its passengers. Below are the key points of their policy:

General Refund Rule

Most Cebu Pacific (CEB) and Cebgo flights are non-refundable if you cancel voluntarily, meaning you usually will not get your money back in cash for standard or promotional fares.

In many cases, the value of the ticket can be converted into a Travel Fund credit for future use, subject to fare and add-on rules.

Voluntary Cancellation

With Flexibility Add-Ons

If you bought CEB Flexi or GO Flexi fare bundles, you can cancel and convert your booking value (excluding the fee for the add-on) into a non-expiring Travel Fund, typically up to 2 hours before departure.

Without Flexibility Add-Ons

Without those add-ons, simply canceling your booking usually does not result in a cash refund - you may only get a Travel Fund or rebooking option where available.

24-Hour Cancellation Rule

If you cancel within 24 hours of booking (and the flight departs at least 7 days later), you may be eligible for a full refund of ticket cost, taxes, and fees, regardless of fare type. This is a common consumer protection practice for many airlines and applies when booking directly with Cebu Pacific.

Airline-Initiated Disruptions (Involuntary Cancellations)

If Cebu Pacific cancels your flight for operational reasons (e.g., weather, schedule changes), you generally have these choices:

• Full cash refund back to the original method of payment.

• Rebook to a new flight without extra charges.

• Convert to a Travel Fund usable for future travel.

Refund Processing

Refunds for eligible flights are typically processed within about 15 calendar days after the request, but the exact time it takes to reach your bank or card depends on your financial institution.

If your ticket includes insurance or add-ons, those may require separate refund procedures with the provider (e.g., for travel insurance).

How to Cancel or Request a Refund

• Go to the Cebu Pacific “Manage Booking” page on their website or app.

• Log in with your booking reference and passenger last name.

• Choose the flight you want to cancel or refund.

• Follow the prompts to cancel and select refund or Travel Fund where eligible.
