Passengers travelling with Emirates are permitted to carry the following:

Carry-on Baggage

Economy Class:

• 1 piece up to 7 kg (15 lbs)
• Maximum dimensions: 22” (length) × 14” (width) × 9” (height)

Premium Economy:

• 1 piece up to 10 kg (22 lbs)
• Maximum dimensions: 22” × 14” × 9”

Business Class:

• 2 pieces, each up to 7 kg (15 lbs)
• Maximum dimensions per piece: 22” × 14” × 9”

First Class:

• 2 pieces, each up to 7 kg (15 lbs)
• Maximum dimensions per piece: 22” × 14” × 9”

Checked Baggage Allowance

Checked baggage allowances depend on the route and fare type and follow either the weight concept or piece concept.

Economy Class (Weight Concept routes): Up to 30 kg (66 lbs) total

Premium Economy: Up to 35 kg (77 lbs) total

Business Class: Up to 40 kg (88 lbs) total

First Class: Up to 50 kg (110 lbs) total

Piece Concept Routes (e.g. to/from USA, Canada, and some destinations):

Economy: 2 pieces, up to 23 kg (50 lbs) each

Premium Economy: 2 pieces, up to 23 kg (50 lbs) each

Business: 2 pieces, up to 32 kg (70 lbs) each

First: 3 pieces, up to 32 kg (70 lbs) each

To avoid extra charges for excess baggage, please make sure to fit your allowed weight into your allowed number of pieces. Any extra weight or number of pieces will be subject to additional fees, provided there is space in the hold for your excess baggage.

Extra Baggage

If your baggage exceeds the free allowance, additional charges apply. Passengers are encouraged to pre-purchase extra baggage allowance online, which is usually cheaper than airport rates. Charges vary by destination and route.:
