Passengers travelling with Gulf Air are permitted to carry the following:

Carry-on Baggage

Passengers are allowed one (1) cabin bag with a maximum weight of 6 kg.

The carry-on baggage must meet Gulf Air’s size requirements and fit in the overhead compartment or under the seat in front.

In addition, passengers may carry one small personal item such as a handbag, laptop bag, or briefcase.

Checked Baggage Allowance

Checked baggage entitlement varies according to fare type and cabin class:

Economy Class

Economy Light: No free checked baggage

Economy Smart / Economy Flex: 23 kg or 30 kg (depending on fare rules)

Falcon Gold (Business Class)

Up to 40 kg of checked baggage

Checked baggage must comply with Gulf Air’s maximum weight and dimension limits per piece. Passengers are advised to check their exact entitlement during booking or via Manage Booking.

Extra Baggage

Passengers may purchase additional baggage allowance in advance through Gulf Air’s website, call centre, or ticket offices.

Prepaid excess baggage offered at discounted rates compared to airport charges and is subject to availability.

Excess baggage purchased at the airport is charged per kilogram and acceptance depends on aircraft capacity and operational limitations.
