Hainan Airlines Baggage Allowance

Passengers travelling with Hainan Airlines are permitted to carry the following baggage:

Baggage Allowance

Carry-On Baggage

Allowance: 1 piece per passenger

Weight Limit: Up to 7 kg

Dimensions: Maximum of 55 × 40 × 20 cm (including handles and wheels)

Additional Item: Passengers may bring one personal item, such as a handbag, laptop bag, or small personal belonging.

Checked Baggage

Allowance: Checked baggage entitlement is based on route and fare type

Domestic Routes (Weight Concept):

Economy Class: Up to 20 kg

International Routes (Piece Concept, including Malaysia):

Economy Class: 1 to 2 pieces, up to 23 kg per piece

Dimensions: The total dimensions of each checked baggage item must not exceed 158 cm (length + width + height)

Excess Baggage

Overweight Items: Any single item exceeding 32 kg is not accepted as checked baggage

Oversized Items: Baggage exceeding 158 cm in total dimensions is classified as oversized and subject to additional handling requirements and fees
