As of early 2026, Kuwait Airways does not operate direct flights from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). Passengers traveling on Kuwait Airways flights from KUL fly via partner airlines or codeshare services. Check-in procedures are determined by the operating carrier, so it is important to verify the specific airline handling your flight for accurate check-in times.

Online Web / Mobile Check-in

Online check-in for Kuwait Airways available from 24 hours to 3 hours before scheduled departure.

Use the Kuwait Airways website or mobile app to check in and download or print your boarding pass.

Self Service Check-in Kiosk

Self-service check-in kiosks are available in the Departure Hall at KLIA, allowing you to check in and print your boarding pass and baggage tags.

Kiosk check-in is open from 4 hours up to approximately 90 minutes before departure.

Please note that not all passengers are eligible. Travelers requiring special assistance, unaccompanied minors, or those with extra-seat bookings cannot use kiosk check-in.

Airport Counter Check-in

Location: Terminal 1, Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL).

Check-in counters open 3 hours before departure and close 60 minutes prior to departure.

Arrival advice: Passengers are advised to arrive at least 180 minutes before departure to allow sufficient time for check-in and other formalities.
