Passengers travelling with Lion Air are permitted to carry the following:

Carry-on Baggage

Passengers are allowed to bring one piece of cabin baggage onboard, subject to size and weight restrictions set by Lion Air.

The carry-on bag must fit in the overhead compartment or under the seat in front of you.

In addition, a small personal item (such as a handbag, laptop bag, or small backpack) may be permitted, provided it meets cabin safety requirements.

Checked Baggage Allowance

Checked baggage allowance depends on the fare type purchased.

Some Lion Air fares include no free checked baggage, while others may include a limited allowance.

Passengers are advised to check their ticket details carefully or purchase checked baggage in advance if needed.

To avoid extra charges for excess baggage, please make sure to fit your allowed weight into your allowed number of pieces. Any extra weight or number of pieces will be subject to additional fees, provided there is space in the hold for your excess baggage.

Extra Baggage

Passengers may purchase additional checked baggage allowance either during booking, via the Lion Air website or mobile app, or at the airport (subject to availability).
