Passengers travelling with Royal Brunei Airlines are permitted to carry the following:

Carry-on Baggage

Passengers are permitted to carry one piece of cabin baggage onboard, subject to the following limits:

Maximum weight:

• Economy Class: 7 kg

• Business Class: 10 kg

• Maximum dimensions: 56 cm × 36 cm × 23 cm

One additional small personal item (such as a handbag, laptop bag, or camera) may be allowed, provided it fits under the seat in front of you.

All carry-on items must fit in the overhead compartment or under the seat and comply with cabin safety regulations.

Checked Baggage Allowance

Royal Brunei Airlines operates a weight-based baggage system on most international routes:

• Economy Class: 30 kg

• Business Class: 40 kg

• Infants (without seat): 10 kg plus one collapsible stroller or carry cot

The total checked baggage must not exceed the permitted weight, regardless of the number of pieces. Each individual piece must comply with maximum size and weight restrictions.

Extra Baggage

Passengers exceeding their free baggage allowance may purchase excess baggage, subject to availability of space in the aircraft hold.

• Excess baggage charges are calculated based on additional weight

• Fees vary by route and destination

• Pre-purchasing excess baggage online or via the sales office is usually more economical than paying at the airport

To avoid extra charges for excess baggage, please ensure your luggage remains within your permitted weight and allowance. Any additional weight or pieces will be subject to extra fees, provided there is available space in the aircraft hold.
