Aircraft Seat Map

As of December 2025, United Airlines aircraft and cabin configurations specifically associated with flights to/from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL) are as below:

• Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner - Operated on United flights between KUL and Tokyo (Narita/Haneda) under United flight numbers (often codeshare and operated by ANA).

Business Class

• Fully flat bed seats on Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner
• Typical 2-2-2 or 1-2-1 layout depending on specific aircraft configuration
• Generous pitch with direct aisle access in many seats
• Personal entertainment screens, power outlets, and USB ports
• Premium meals and complimentary beverages
• Priority check-in, boarding, and luggage handling

Premium Plus / Premium Economy Class

• Premium Plus cabin available on most Boeing 787-8 aircraft
• 2-3-2 seating layout
• Wider seats with greater recline and leg rest compared to main Economy
• Personal entertainment screens and enhanced service
• Additional baggage allowance and priority boarding

Economy Class

• 3-3-3 seating layout on Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner
• Standard ergonomic seats with adjustable headrests
• Individual seatback entertainment
• Complimentary meals and beverages on international flights
• USB charging and power outlets at most seats

Seat Selection

• Seat selection available during booking or via Manage Booking
• Preferred and extra-legroom seats available for a fee (or complimentary for elite members)
• Complimentary standard seat selection usually opens closer to departure depending on fare type

Note: United itself does not currently operate direct long-haul aircraft out of KUL under its own metal; flights bearing United flight numbers on KUL are operated by ANA on United’s behalf using Boeing 787-8 aircraft.
