Passengers travelling with Xiamen Airlines are permitted to carry the following:

Carry-on Baggage

Passengers are generally allowed one piece of carry-on baggage to be placed in the overhead compartment or under the seat in front.

• Maximum weight: up to 5 kg

• Maximum dimensions: typically 55 × 40 × 20 cm

In addition, one small personal item (such as a handbag, laptop bag, or small backpack) may be carried on board, subject to size restrictions.

Carry-on baggage must comply with safety regulations and fit within the aircraft cabin storage limits.

Checked Baggage Allowance

Checked baggage allowances depend on the class of travel and fare type.

Economy Class

• 1 piece

• Maximum weight: 23 kg per piece

Business Class

• 2 pieces

• Maximum weight: 32 kg per piece

Each checked bag must not exceed the airline’s maximum size limit (usually 158 cm total dimensions: length + width + height).

Passengers should always check their ticket details for the exact allowance applicable to their booking.

Extra Baggage

Passengers who exceed their free baggage allowance may purchase extra baggage, subject to availability of space in the aircraft hold.

Extra baggage charges may apply for:

• Excess weight

• Additional pieces

• Oversized baggage

To avoid extra charges for excess baggage, please make sure to fit your allowed weight into your allowed number of pieces. Any extra weight or number of pieces will be subject to additional fees, provided there is space in the hold for your excess baggage.
