Jalan Cochrane Jalan Cochrane Jalan Cochrane, nestled within Bulatan Pandan and Jalan Peel, Kuala Lumpur. It is an underdeveloped area in Kuala Lumpur. It was named after the British General Advisor of Johor, Charles Walter Hamilton Cochrane, British Resident of Perak, (1929-1930).

There are many government quarters in this area, which were built before World War II. Relocation of the quarters are in progress in order to give way to '10th Malaysia Plan' development project. The identified project is IKEA furniture store and MRT Station in its vicinity. IKEA have already open its door to public on 19th November 2015.


SMK Cochrane (formerly known as SMK Jalan Cochrane or Cochrane Road School) is a secondary school in area.

Jalan Cochrane is within 5 minutes drive to Bukit Bintang area and high rise offices Wisma Time, Menara AA, Wisma Technip and RHB Bank Head Office. The hyper mart Carrefour (Jalan Peel) is the nearest shopping mall within its vicinity.
