Jalan Dang Wangi
Jalan Dang Wangi, formerly known
as Campbell Road, is named after the district of Dang Wangi. Dang Wangi
situated north from the Dataran Merdeka in Kuala Lumpur.
The most significant iconic landmark along this road is 'Pertama Complex',
most famous shopping arcade among the local and now Indonesian workers
around Kuala Lumpur. You will find many little shops offering everything
from clothing, shoes and accessories to souvenirs, music and books in this
Complex.
Yut Kee Kopitiam, The Ship, Pink Sage and Rainbow Palace are
few famous restaurants situated along Jalan Dang Wangi.
District Police
Station Dang Wangi (IPD Dang Wangi) also situated along the road.
The
Dang Wang LRT station also derived from Jalan Dang Wangi which is
intersects with Jalan Ampang 100 metres south.
Other shopping malls situated
within the vicinity such as Campbell Complex, Sogo Departmental Store and
Globe Silk Store are within walking distance. Campbell comprises a
four-story shopping podium with a basement car park and a 15-story office
tower.
Located with direct frontage onto Jalan Dang Wangi, Campbell Shopping
Complex is one of the oldest complexes in Kuala Lumpur.
