The locality of Cheras spans two states, extending from Kuala Lumpur in the north to Selangor in the south. It is a large and, in parts, densely populated suburb, recognised for its diverse range of shopping malls, local shops, nightlife, and everyday amenities.

Due to its large geographical footprint, property options in Cheras span a wide price spectrum. Buyers will find a diverse mix of housing types, neighbourhood environments, and supporting amenities, making the area appealing to homebuyers from various demographic backgrounds and lifestyle preferences.

Connectivity is often cited as one of Cheras’ main challenges. While transport links are excellent on paper, traffic congestion during peak hours can significantly affect travel times. Accessibility may therefore vary depending on the time of day. Encouragingly, ongoing infrastructure upgrades and traffic management improvements are aimed at easing congestion in the long term.
