It is one of China’s busiest airports and a major hub for domestic and international flights, connecting the Pearl River Delta region with destinations across Asia, Europe, Oceania, and the Americas.

Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport has three passenger terminals: Terminal 1, Terminal 2, and Terminal 3, forming a large modern airport complex designed to handle tens of millions of passengers annually. Each terminal provides check in counters, self service kiosks, immigration and customs services, baggage claim areas, lounges, retail outlets, and extensive duty free shops.

Travelers can reach Guangzhou city centre and the greater Pearl River Delta region via the Guangzhou Metro Line 3, which serves airport stations and provides convenient subway access to downtown. Airport express buses and city buses connect the airport with various urban and suburban destinations.

Taxis and ride hailing services are readily available outside the arrival areas of each terminal. Intercity bus services link the airport with neighbouring cities in Guangdong Province such as Shenzhen, Zhuhai, and Foshan, while high speed rail connections via the airport’s railway station offer additional options for onward travel.

Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport continues to expand its infrastructure and flight network, reinforcing its role as a key aviation hub in southern China and a major gateway for both domestic and international travel.
