Haikou Meilan International Airport (海口美兰国际机场, HAK) is the main international gateway to Haikou, the capital city of Hainan Province in southern China. The airport is located approximately 25 km southeast of Haikou city center. As one of the major aviation hubs in southern China, it handles both domestic and international flights, connecting Hainan Island with major cities across China and destinations throughout Asia.

The airport has two passenger terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, serving domestic and international operations. Travelers can reach the city center via taxis, airport shuttle buses, and ride hailing services. The airport is connected to the regional railway network through Meilan Airport Railway Station, providing high speed rail services to Haikou city and other destinations across Hainan Island. Public buses also link the airport with major districts and nearby cities.
