KIX operates two passenger terminals: Terminal 1, which handles most
international and some domestic flights, and Terminal 2, primarily used by
low-cost carriers. Facilities include check-in counters, self-service kiosks,
automated immigration gates, baggage claim,
airline lounges, and extensive
duty-free shopping areas.
Passengers can enjoy a wide range of
restaurants offering Japanese and international cuisine, cafés, convenience
stores, and specialty retail outlets. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the
airport. Additional amenities include
currency exchange counters, ATMs,
SIM card
and pocket Wi-Fi rental services, shower rooms, medical clinics, prayer rooms,
and children’s play areas.

Transportation
Travelers can reach central Osaka via the JR Kansai Airport Rapid Service and
the Nankai Airport Express or Rapi:t trains, offering direct connections to
Osaka and Namba. Airport limousine buses provide service to Kyoto, Kobe, and
other regional cities. Taxis, car rentals, and ferry services to Kobe are also
available. Travel time to central Osaka typically ranges from 35 to 50 minutes
by train.
