ERL Train Services at KLIA Terminal 2 (klia2)

The Express Rail Link (ERL) operates two train services from Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 2 (KLIA T2): KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit. Both services are accessed via Gateway@klia2 Mall, with ticketing counters located on Level 2 and train platforms on Level 1.

Service Options & Routes

• KLIA Ekspres

A non-stop airport express service to KL Sentral, with an approximate travel time of 33 minutes.

• KLIA Transit

A commuter rail service to KL Sentral, with an approximate travel time of 39 minutes, stopping at:

   - KLIA Terminal 1

   - Salak Tinggi

   - Putrajaya & Cyberjaya

   - Bandar Tasik Selatan (TBS)


Inter-Terminal Transfer

Both ERL services provide a direct rail transfer between KLIA Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, offering a convenient option for passengers changing terminals.

• Travel time: approximately 3 minutes

• Fare: RM2.00 (Adult); RM1.00 (Child)


Schedule & Train Frequency

ERL services operate at frequent intervals throughout the day. Trains run every 15 minutes during weekday peak hours, and every 20 to 30 minutes during off-peak periods and weekends.

The first departures from KLIA T2 are at 4:55 AM (KLIA Ekspres) and 5:18 AM (KLIA Transit). The final trains depart between 12:10 AM and 1:00 AM, with all services stopping at all stations after 11:00 PM.
