Taxi Services at KLIA Terminal 2 (klia2)

Taxi services are available at the Transportation Hub on Level 1 of Gateway@klia2 Mall, located next to the KLIA Terminal 2 (klia2) Main Terminal Building. Taxi counters and boarding points are clearly signposted within the terminal.

Taxi Services at KLIA Terminal 2 (klia2)

Taxi services at KLIA Terminal 2 (klia2) operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

There are three types of taxi services available at KLIA Terminal 2 (klia2):


• Coupon Taxi (Airport Limo)

Proceed to the Coupon Taxi counter and inform the staff of your destination. After payment, a coupon will be issued. Credit card payments are accepted at the counter.

After receiving your coupon, proceed to Door 4 and queue for boarding. When it is your turn, hand the coupon to the taxi driver, who will then drive you directly to your destination.


• Metered Taxi

- Budget Taxi (Town Taxi / Cab)

Proceed to the Metered Taxi counter and purchase a boarding coupon priced at RM2.00. Exit through Door 4 and queue at the metered taxi lane.

Present the coupon to the taxi driver. The taxi meter starts running once you board the vehicle. The final fare is based on the meter reading plus any applicable toll charges.

Fare Calculation:

• RM3.00 for the first 1 km or first 3 minutes.

• RM0.25 for each subsequent 200 metres or 36 seconds.
(Estimated fare: 5 km ≈ RM8.00 / 10 km ≈ RM14.25)

• 50% surcharge applies from 12:00 am to 6:00 am.

- Executive Taxi (Blue Taxi)

Executive Taxis are larger than Budget Taxis and offer more spacious seating. They are identifiable by their blue colour and are available at the metered taxi queue.

Fare Calculation:

• RM6.00 for the first 1 km or first 3 minutes.

• RM0.20 for each subsequent 100 metres or 21 seconds.
(Estimated fare: 5 km ≈ RM14.00 / 10 km ≈ RM24.00)

• 50% surcharge applies from 12:00 am to 6:00 am.


• Premier Taxi

Premier Taxis operate using larger MPV vehicles with extended luggage space, making them suitable for passengers travelling with more baggage.

Each vehicle accommodates up to four passengers:

• 1 passenger in the front seat.

• 3 passengers in the rear seats.

Premier Taxis are available at designated counters within KLIA Terminal 2 (klia2).
