Online Web / Mobile Check-in
Online check-in for Cathay Pacific available from 48 hours to 1.5 hours before scheduled
departure.
Use the Cathay Pacific website or mobile app to check in and download or print your
boarding pass. Once online check‑in is done, if you have checked baggage you'll
still need to drop bags at the airport before the baggage drop counter closes.
Self Service Check-in Kiosk
Self-service check-in kiosks are available in the Departure Hall at KLIA,
allowing you to check in and print your boarding pass and baggage tags.
Kiosk check-in is open from 4 hours up to approximately 1 hour 30 minutes before
departure.
Please note that not all passengers are eligible. Travelers requiring special
assistance, unaccompanied minors, or those with extra-seat bookings cannot use
kiosk check-in.
For easier and smoother boarding, check in your flights at self check-in kiosk
to avoid the queue. Self-service Check-in and Baggage Tag are available
for Cathay Pacific Airlines at KLIA and KL
CAT.
Once kiosks check‑in is done, if you have checked baggage you'll still need to
drop bags at the airport before the baggage drop counter closes.
Airport Counter Check-in
The amount of time needed to complete all check-in requirements varies depending
on your itinerary.
Cathay Pacific Airport Counter Check-in : Main Terminal Building (Terminal
1), Row G
Opening Hours : 3 hours before scheduled departure time (except CX597) / CX597:
2 hours 30 minutes before scheduled departure time.
Check-in counters are closed punctually 60 minutes before scheduled departure
time. Showing up past closing time may result in denial of boarding.
