As of December 2025, China Eastern Airlines’ aircraft and cabin configurations commonly used on routes to Kuala Lumpur (KUL) are as follows:

• Airbus A330-300
• Airbus A321 (ceo / neo, depending on rotation)
• Airbus A320 family (A320/A320neo on selected frequencies)

Cabin Configuration

Business Class

• Lie-flat or angled-flat seats on wide-body aircraft (A330-300)
• Recliner-style business seats on narrow-body aircraft (A321 / A320)
• 2-2-2 seating layout on Airbus A330-300
• 2-2 seating layout on Airbus A321
• Enhanced seat pitch with adjustable recline and leg support
• Individual inflight entertainment screens on wide-body aircraft
• Priority check-in, boarding, and baggage handling
• Chinese and international meal selections with inflight entertainment

Premium Economy Class (limited availability)

• Available only on selected Airbus A330-300 aircraft
• Wider seats with increased legroom and recline compared to Economy
• 2-3-2 seating layout on Airbus A330-300
• Dedicated cabin section (where equipped)
• Larger personal entertainment screens
• Enhanced dining service compared to Economy

Note: Premium Economy is not installed on all A330 aircraft and is not available on A321/A320.

Economy Class

• 3-3 layout on Airbus A321 and A320
• 2-4-2 seating layout on Airbus A330-300
• Adjustable headrests with standard international legroom
• Seatback inflight entertainment screens on most aircraft
• USB charging and/or in-seat power on wide-body aircraft
• Complimentary meals and beverages on all international flights

Seat Selection

• Complimentary or paid seat selection depending on fare family
• Advance seat selection available via Manage Booking on China Eastern’s website or app
• Preferred seats (front rows, aisle/window, extra-legroom) may incur additional charges
• Bassinet and limited extra-legroom seats subject to availability
