KLIA Ekspres connecting KLIA Terminal 1 and 2 to City Center

KLIA Ekspres is a premium non-stop high-speed train service that connects Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 1 and its low cost terminal, Terminal 2 to city center.

Cruising at a top speed of 160 km/h, the journey allowing you to relax in comfort along the way. KLIA Ekspres promises to be fast, reliable, safe; and comfortable. KLIA Ekspres runs every 20 minutes daily from 5:00 am to 12:00 am. The total journey time between KL Sentral and KLIA Terminal 1 is 28 minutes, and to Terminal 2 is 33 minutes.

KLIA Ekspres air-conditioned carriages are equipped with comfortable contoured seats, a washroom, digital entertainment, overhead racks for light luggage and tiered racks for large luggage. Special wheelchair seat compartments are also available on board for the disabled.

Rest assured your luggage will be taken care of by the friendly and reliable porters at no charge. Helpful porters are available at your service at all the areas for loading or unloading of your luggage. Just like an airport, you can check-in your flight before even reaching the airport.

Kuala Lumpur City Air Terminal (KL CAT) at KL Sentral

Passengers holding KLIA Ekspres tickets are allowed to check-in luggage for several airlines at the Kuala Lumpur City Air Terminal (KL CAT) at  KL Sentral. This facility is exclusively for KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit passengers flying with Malaysia Airlines, Royal Brunei Airlines, Cathay Pacific or Emirates. However, this check-in facilities are not available at KLIA Transit stations along the rail line. Read more on KL CAT.

Simply check-in and collect your boarding pass in advance so it allows you more time to avoid the rush when you reach KLIA. Fares depend on the distance travelled. The fares for KL Sentral-KLIA and KLIA-KL Sentral are the same as KLIA Ekspres at RM55 and RM25 for children (6 - 15 years).

To travel quickly and smoothly between the KLIA Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, passengers can take the KLIA Ekspres at the ERL station of respective terminal.
